Painter and educator. The artist graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the College of Visual and Performing Arts at Syracuse University, New York and a Master of Art Education from Universidad del Turabo, Puerto Rico. His paintings have been included in exhibitions in Puerto Rico, New York, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Milledgeville (Georgia), Doral (Florida), Istanbul (Turkey), Florence and Venice (Italy). The artist’s work is part of both private and public collections including Museo de Arte de Caguas, Museo de Arte Francisco Oller and the Puerto Rican Arts Alliance in Chicago.
Wilmer Herrison, originally from Maracaibo, Venezuela, has developed his own technique of acrylic painting heavily influenced by the intricate weaving of the Amerindian tribes of Eastern Columbia and Western Venezuela.
Wilmer works and lives in France where he studied at the École du Louvre in Paris.
He has received recognition in his home country of Venezuela, with works displayed in two national museums: The Barquisimeto Museum and the Museum of Modern Art Juan Astorga Anta in Mérida, Venezuela as well as the Museum of Contemporary Art of Zulia, Maracaibo, Venezuela.
Amy has fine tuned her techniques and uses reactive metallic paints, acrylic resins and other materials to create vibrant, expressive explosions of color. Her abstract works explore the chemistry of combining different reactive paints and the fractal like images that result. She has expanded into digital art, using her original works as a basis to take them to limitless possibilities in a digital world.
Rafael has been creating his unique style of abstract art using painted paper collages since 2004. This prolific artist has been exhibited in New York, Vermont and the Puerto Rico Museum of Contemporary Art.
In his photos, the parameters with which dreams are distinguished from reality confront purposeful obscurement. For Sebastian, working within the expansive continuum of light and dark produces a visualization of the fantasy that pervades both dreams and the subconscious.
Henry creates vivid colorful paintings in a Pop/Lowbrow Surrealist style. Henry has recently been adapting the “characters” from his paintings into physical sculptures.
Focusing on spray paint and acrylics, Graham began doing graffiti art that has evolved into bold and powerful works with complicated and mind-bending patterns. An artist with a bold and energetic style, Graham’s exhibitions present his big city look in a Pop Contemporary Mathematical style that is all his own.
Andrés is super high energy, and expresses his contemporary abstract style with vivid colors and amazing 3D-like depth to his works. His enthusiasm for art is evident in every piece he creates.
