Featured Artist Cleveland Graham has created three new boxes to add to his collection.
Cleveland Graham hand crafts wooden boxes and chests from reclaimed wood by “harvesting – taking something old and run down and bringing an entirely new life to itself.” His designs are contemporary, abstract with baroque and asian influences, but carry an old world charm.
Each box is unique, expertly finished and adorned with his artwork. We can almost imagine a lifetime of history that will be made with this object with any owners lucky enough to have one of his pieces. Who will it be passed down to? Where will you travel with it?
Here they are:
“Greeted in the Desert” – Wood box with metal feet and hinged top with latch, lined with “Catholic Red”. 10.5″x14.5″x3″:
“p.e.w.s.” – File/Photo Box with lid with metal feet, file “plaque” and lined top and inside with “green leaf” fabric. 8.5″x11.75″x5″.
“Rails to prospect” – Wooden Chest Box with metal latch and hinges with “Horse” metal feet. Lined with “Biltmore Brown” felt. 5.5″x8.5″x4″
